List of Organisations
In the application form, participants will be asked to select up to three (3) preferred organisations to work with based on the list of organisations given. The Award Committee will the take these preferences into account when assigning participants to each Organisation.

- Between the ages of 16 - 30
- A citizen or a resident of Malaysia
- Able to converse in basic English as some programmes will be conducted in English
- Keen to become a Compassionate Leader
- Be committed to fulfilling your volunteering hours

Award Process
| Step | Target Date | Process | Details |
| 1 | 10 April 2026, 6pm (GMT+8) | Application Deadline | Applicants will have to register before the stipulated closing date. |
| 2 | 6 March - 13 April 2026 | Get Shortlisted for Interview | Our Award Committee will contact all shortlisted applicants for an interview (online video or phone call). The Award Committee may ask you about your answers to the application questions. |
| 3 | 20 April - 3 May 2026 | Interview with Organisation | Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the chosen Organisation. |
| 4 | 5 May 2026 | Get Selected | All selected applicants will be notified through email. |
| 5 | 23 May 2026 | Orientation | Applicants will be briefed by Roots & Shoots before heading out to volunteer. |
| 6 | 1 June to 30 September 2026 | Volunteer Period | All participants will undergo their voluntary service period. Participants are required to log their completed hours online on the Award self-reporting platform. |
| 7 | 21 November 2026 (Date TBC) | Award Ceremony | Upon completing the requirements, all participants will receive a certificate at the award giving ceremony. |
